The Force Awakens was released in a Blu-ray combo pack and on DVD on April 5, 2016, with a digital version available four days earlier on April 1. Special features included deleted scenes, featurettes, and a feature-length documentary, black widow halloween costume Secrets of The Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey. On March 23, 2016, the film was leaked online prior to its original Blu-ray release and was downloaded more than two million times in twelve hours.
